How to find your account number & transfer PIN

You need two things to bring your number to manaMOBILE: your account number and a transfer PIN. Every carrier calls these slightly different things. Here's exactly where to find them.

Before you start: Don't cancel your old service. The transfer itself cancels the old line. If you cancel first, you lose the number. Also, if your old phone is locked to a carrier ("SIM locked"), you'll need to unlock it first — check with them.

Major carriers

T-Mobile

Account number: Your 9-to-12-digit T-Mobile account number. It's at the top of your bill, in the T-Mobile app under Account → Profile, or in your online account at t-mobile.com.

Transfer PIN: T-Mobile calls this a "Number Transfer PIN" or "Port-Out PIN." To get it: open the T-Mobile app → Account → Line Settings → Request Transfer PIN. Or dial #PORT (#7678) from your T-Mobile phone. The PIN is 6 digits, valid for 7 days.

💡 T-Mobile prepaid: same process, but the account number may be your phone number. Metro by T-Mobile: call 1-888-8metro8 or visit a store — they use an 8-digit account PIN plus your name and address.

Verizon

Account number: Your Verizon account number ends in "-00001." Find it in the My Verizon app under Account → Account Overview, or at the top-right of your PDF bill on verizon.com. If you don't see the full number, check your bill — it's printed on every page.

Transfer PIN: Verizon calls this a "Number Transfer PIN." In the My Verizon app: Account → Edit Profile & Settings → Number Transfer PIN → Generate. Or dial #PORT (#7678) from your Verizon phone. The PIN is 6 digits, valid for 7 days.

💡 If you have a business account or more than one line, make sure you're generating the PIN for the right line. Verizon's "Account PIN" (the 4-digit security PIN) is NOT the transfer PIN — the transfer PIN is generated separately.

AT&T

Account number: Your AT&T account number is on your monthly bill (paper or PDF) or in the myAT&T app under Profile → Account Details. Wireless accounts are usually 12 digits.

Transfer PIN: AT&T calls it a "Number Transfer PIN." Dial *PORT (*7678) from your AT&T phone. You'll get a text message with a 6-digit PIN valid for 4 days. Or use the myAT&T app: Manage Device → Transfer phone number → follow prompts.

💡 AT&T prepaid: call 1-800-901-9878 and ask for your account number. The PIN is usually the 4-digit security code you set up when activating.

Spectrum Mobile

Account number: Your Spectrum account number (it's the same as your Spectrum internet/cable account). It's on your monthly statement in the top-right corner or in the My Spectrum app under Billing.

Transfer PIN: Spectrum calls it a "Number Transfer PIN" or "Security PIN." Get it by calling Spectrum Mobile support at 1-833-224-6603 — there's no self-service option. You'll need to verify your identity with account details or security questions.

💡 Spectrum won't give you the PIN online. You must call. Have your account number and account holder name ready when you call.

Mint Mobile

Account number: Your Mint account number is your 10-digit phone number. Don't use the order number from your confirmation email — it's just the phone number.

Transfer PIN: Mint sends this by text. Open the Mint Mobile app → Account → Request Account Number and PIN → you'll get a text with both. Or call customer support at 1-800-683-7392. The PIN is usually 4 digits.

💡 Your Mint plan must be active (not paused or expired) to transfer. Prepaid balances don't transfer — use up your data first.

Visible

Account number: Visible doesn't show account numbers in the app. Open the Visible app → Account → your account number is displayed there. Or contact support via chat in the app to ask for it.

Transfer PIN: Visible calls it a "Port-Out PIN." Go to the Visible app → Account → Request Port-Out PIN. They email you a 6-digit PIN to the email address on your Visible account. Valid for 7 days.

💡 Visible requires you to use the app — there's no website self-service. If you can't log in, you'll need to contact their support chat.

Other carriers

Boost Mobile

Account number: Open the Boost Mobile app or log into my.boostmobile.com. Account → Profile → your account number is at the top.

Transfer PIN: Call Boost support at 1-833-502-6678. Say "transfer my number" and they'll give you a 4-digit PIN. You must call — no self-service option.

Cricket Wireless

Account number: Log into mycricket.com or the myCricket app. It's listed on the Account Summary page or your bill PDF. Usually 9-12 digits.

Transfer PIN: Cricket calls it an "Authorization ID" or "Number Transfer PIN." Call 1-800-274-2538 or dial 611 from your Cricket phone. You'll need your 4-digit account security PIN to get it.

💡 Cricket's account security PIN (the 4-digit code you set up) is your authorization to port out — you'll need it for the call.

Google Fi

Account number: Your Google Fi account number IS your 10-digit phone number.

Transfer PIN: Google Fi app: Manage Plan → Leave Google Fi → Transfer number → follow the prompts. They generate a 6-digit PIN and show it in the app. Also emailed to your Google account.

💡 When leaving Google Fi, the app asks if you want to "cancel" or "transfer." Choose transfer — canceling discards the number.

US Mobile

Account number: US Mobile app or dashboard → Settings → your account number is displayed. Or contact support chat for it.

Transfer PIN: In the app: Your Line → Transfer Number → generate PIN. Also available by contacting support. The PIN is 6 digits, valid for 7 days.

Straight Talk / TracFone / Net10 / Total Wireless

Account number: Usually your phone's IMEI number (not your phone number). Dial *#06# on the phone to get the IMEI, or check Settings → About Phone. In some cases it's the last 15 digits of your SIM card number. If unsure, call support.

Transfer PIN: Text NTP (Number Transfer PIN) to 611611. You'll get a text reply with your 4-6 digit PIN. Or call customer service at 1-877-430-2355. Have your phone's IMEI ready.

💡 TracFone brands are the trickiest to port from. Make sure your name and address on the TracFone account exactly match what you enter on manaMOBILE — mismatched info is the #1 reason these port requests fail.

Hawaiian Telcom / Hawaiian Tel

Account number: On your monthly bill (paper or PDF), top-left corner. Also available by logging into your account at hawaiiantel.com.

Transfer PIN: Call Hawaiian Telcom support at 643-3456 (Oahu) or 1-888-723-8645 (Neighbor Islands). You must call — no self-service PIN generation. Say you're porting your number out and need the transfer authorization.

Don't see your carrier above? The general rule: your account number is on your bill (paper or PDF is best). The transfer PIN (sometimes called a "port-out PIN," "number transfer PIN," or "porting authorization code") is generated by calling your carrier or using their app. Most carriers block automated port-outs — you must request the PIN yourself. It's free by law — carriers cannot charge you to port out.
